Halloween
Dudley was Batman. He didn't really care. Chloe was the devil. Her costume was falling off before we even got out of the driveway. Gracie wore a tutu which she refused to walk in. BUT all three dogs went trick-or-treating with us.
Another Gig
Eliana tried and was chosen for a principal role in a Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure Cat in the Hat shoot! We spent two VERY long days at Islands of Adventure but once again, she showed her talents and was a true pro. We were told that the video footage and photos were to have on hand for when they needed it but we haven't seen it anywhere, yet. I'll keep you posted. I check the website often but still see the same old pictures and videos that were there before we went for the tryouts.
Here she is with some of the other children (she's in the pink shirt, dark shorts).
And Then There Were Three
While Dudley was very sick, I didn't have much faith (I should have known better) in him getting better. He was that bad. Soooooo...I told Matt that I was going to find another buddy for Gracie. Gracie loves Dudley and I knew she would be one lonely pup if he was gone. It only took me one day when Poodle and Pooch Rescue called me with this little "angel". She was a maltese-poodle mix and brand new to them. Did I want to meet her? Yes, please.
We brought this cutie-pie home and she changed the WHOLE DYNAMIC of our household. She was a pain in the butt. When she wasn't constantly searching for lizards, she was trying to play with Gracie and Dudley and she was ROUGH. This 8 pound little thing was a TERROR. .jpg)

It's been 9 months now and she's coming along. She is a LOVER and is in fact sleeping on my lap as I type this. She still has high high HIGH energy and loves to catch lizards but she also loves her family. I have to admit I was very worried about this dog at first. She still has her moments but her sweetness has won me over and much to Dudley and Gracie's dismay, she's here to stay!
High Maitenance Dog #2
My Dudley got very very sick last summer the week before we left for our cruise. He was diagnosed with severe Renal disease. The vet said that he could have weeks to 6 months and she even had a dog live for a year with kidney levels that bad. It was so bad that Matt even suggested I skip the cruise and stay home with him. After a few days of all day IV Fluids at the vet, he started to improve. We chose to keep him and Gracie boarded at the vet while we were gone and I felt confident enough to go on the cruise. My friend Susan called every day to check on him and then would text and email me his progress. She even went in to visit him mid-week and picked them up the night before we got home. Turns out my Little Man has his brother Murray's Miracle Genes and made a full recovery. His bloodwork kept moving closer and closer to normal and just 2 months ago (Feb 2012), they were normal. The picture above shows him in his fancy goggles because he does now get laser therapy for his back. But for now, he's fat and happy (as happy as Dudley can be). LOVE. Family Cruise
Beautiful Ghost
Eliana was asked to be in Parenting Magazine's Halloween issue. She was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ghost I've ever seen. I was so proud of her. She rocked the photoshoot and the staff loved her. My girl kept her false eyelashes on all day after the morning shoot.

She got it from her Great Nanny.
I love Florida
It's amazing that our new home in the "city" has more wildlife than our last home which was in the middle of no-man's land!
Thank you Kopixmo If you are in the Orlando area, call them. Melissa and Bobby are awesome!!! And super great with kids!!
