Smoothies!

I finally...FINALLY bought a Vitamix. Matt and I had wanted one years before we had kids but just never could bring ourselves to spend the money on one. And then my BFF Laura had to go and buy one. And she had to rave and rave and rave about it. AND THEN, she even brought it here for a visit and cooked with it! A few weeks after that, our Whole Foods had it on display. Still not willing to spend so much money on a blender but knowing that I would use it often, I went home and looked online for coupons. Well, wouldn't you know, it was QVC's deal of the day!! I don't know about you but I consider all of those things SIGNS that it was time for us to make our Vitamix Purchase!

My almost-4-year-old is drinking smoothies with SPINACH AND/OR CARROTS and loves them. That is worth every single dollar!

Weather

Up until 2 weeks ago, it had been just beautiful here! I found this little cutie hiding in the playground.

Special Little Cuties

RUN! SASHA! RUN!

Sasha joined a track "team" or club or something like that for about 6 weeks this fall. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Once she starts to pay attention, you know...instead of looking backwards while running or forgetting to jump during the long jump or tripping over the hurdles, she's going to be a track star!

Thanksgiving

I'm so lucky that my mom and dad were able to come here for Thanksgiving for the past two years. The weather is always MUCH BETTER than PA. :) Friends, Family and more dogs!! You know I had a blast!

I won!

I won a Facebook contest! Well, it wasn't really a contest, just a random name they picked but it was MY NAME. A toy company I love, Escapade Direct was giving away 12 different games for the 12 days of Christmas. I entered. I won! The game is called Jishaku. It kind of looks like magnetic checkers. Regardless, I WON SOMETHING! Wahoo!!!

Corn Maze

The girls and I went to a corn maze last weekend. We decided NOT to do the large maze after hearing that it took some people 3 hours to get out! I knew right away that we would have been "some people" and Eliana would have had to go the bathroom right in the middle of that 3 hours.
The little maze was super cute. We had to find 5 colors and put one finger of our right hand in each color in any order. When we found our way out of the maze, we looked at the pattern of colors to read our fortune. I was VERY impressed:

Mine: You have a friendly nature.

Sasha: You see the world wonder.

Eliana: You fight for what is right. (I must amend this one to: You fight for WHAT YOU THINK is right.)

How fitting, right?
