How big is Sasha?

Soooooooo big! We just die another closet purge in anticipation of enjoying the cooler PA weather next weekend. Well, just take a look at the picture, Sasha may be going up in shorts and tshirts because nothing that she wore last winter fits her now! In fact, it's comical how short everything is.

Everyone Loves a Parade!

Sasha's class has been studying transportation this week. Today, they had a parade. I had so much fun making Sasha's tricycle as obnoxious as possible! If you ask me, she had the best dressed bike!

Can you believe it?

One year ago today, we got THE CALL that changed our lives forever.

I was going to write a heartfelt post about THE CALL but I can't right now because my daughter is naked and jumping on the bed.

She should have been dressed 10 minutes ago. Like I said, our lives were changed.

Even Underwater

She's beautiful!

Sasha said it so it must be true.

Every once in a while, Sasha's pre-school class goes to the gym and helps with the 1-2 year old class. She loves helping the babies but the other day she was telling me that one of the babies bit another baby. I told her that babies do that because they don't know how to say, "I'm angry," and that it's our job to teach them how to share their.

Today in the car, she said, "Babies don't know things and we have to teach them. Just like Daddies, right Mom?"

That's my girl!

Happy Birthday Juliana!

Policemen are so nice.

A policeman tried to talk to Sasha this morning but she wouldn't talk to him. I told her that it was ok to talk to policemen if you needed help. It's their job to help people. So, she did eventually say HI to him but stayed close to me.

Today after school, she said, "You should never ever talk to strangers." I said, "Yes that's right but is it ok to talk to a policeman if you need help?" She said, "Yes, like if a fan fell on the floor or your shoe is untied or if your baby needs to go to sleep." Well?

Update

Really none.

No birthmoms have chosen us or not chosen us....

And so we wait.

Ok

"Mommy, why can't earrings talk?"

Maybe "Great Aunt Cherry" can answer that question.

And, we'd like to give a shout out to Great Aunt Debbie!

First Field Trip

Singing...Tooty Ta! (Sasha is on the far right.)

Unleash the hounds! (Sasha is in the middle.)

Sasha's pre-k class took a field trip today. They went to sing at a retirement home and then had a picnic at the park.

When I picked her up at school, the teachers told me that somehow she decided to play with the ants. She has bites all over her hands and ankles. ARGH!!! She did say she had fun, though.

Floridians in Vermont

Matt's cousin got married in Vermont this weekend. If it weren't for the snow, I would move there. Everything was beautiful.

Sasha attended her first wedding and did a pretty good job. During the reception, she got married to several different people, including mommy. She enjoyed the dancing and LOVED the food. She easily managed to charm both photographers and there may actually be more pictures of her than the bride. That's our girl!

A Lifesaver

The portable DVD player is a lifesaver. Why oh why did we just buy one now?

To all of you parents who do a lot of travelling---GO BUY ONE TODAY! She did not move from the time the movie started until we had to put it away. Then, she did it again on our next flight!
