Lucky
Let me tell you how lucky Eliana is that she is so cute. She has really been showing her 3-year-old colors lately and it's driving us all (even chilled out Sasha) crazy. If you even look at her the wrong way, her temper flares and the sh*t will hit the fan. Of course, don't even bother trying to talk to her in a calm voice because, she can cover her ears, give you an air hit, and scream so loud that I'm suprised the cops haven't been called to our house.

Imagination

Eliana is taking a keyboard class at school. She's very musical. She even makes music in the bathroom by tapping her feet and banging on the toilet lid. Yes, it takes forever for her to go potty. The other day, I was listening to Tori Amos and during the piano playing, Eliana pulled the stool up to the ledge of the bathtub and started to pretend to play the piano.

Strawberry Pickin'
We've been waiting all "winter" for the strawberries to turn ripe at our local patch. We've had such a "cold" winter that it took a while but we finally got the chance to go. We picked almost 9 pounds of berries and it didn't take long before they were gone! And we absolutely HAD to go to row 3 because that is Eliana's favorite number.
Relay for Life
After losing a close friend of the family to Breast Cancer when I was in college, it has always been an organization we have donated to. Every year our county school system does a big Relay for Life walk but this year, Sasha's school organized a MINI walk just for the kids. To be honest, it was just enough for mom too! 10 times around the bus loop blowing bubbles, chasing balloons, blowing whistles and dancing an Irish Jig is my kind of exercise! 9 11 19

Eliana's First Dentist Appointment

The hygienist told me to expect them to only be able to clean a few teeth. She said most kids start crying as soon as they see the chair. I was pleasantly surprised that Eliana not only stayed calm as she sat in the chair, but she allowed the hygienist to clean all of her teeth! It must have been the tutu she was wearing.
