Moving Day

We finally found a house. I will not have to spend all day in my car. Just a few weeks ago, I drove 120 miles just driving the girls back and forth from their camps and running errands! I couldn't believe it!

Our new house is gorgeous and I thank the previous owners for putting their love into it. We don't have to do anything to the house. The home was built in 1950 and they remodeled it. The kitchen is my favorite. I could DANCE in it if I wanted to! After I hurt myself from dancing, I can take a soak in my whirlpool tub and close the girls off in the kids' wing of the house.

I am totally sad to leave our neighborhood. We have wonderful, loving neighbors. This house has a lot of memories, too. We came here with 2 spoiled doggies and just ourselves. We're leaving with 2 spoiled doggies, 1 spoiled doggy spirit, 2 beautiful children and a whole lot of STUFF!

Another Colorado Trip

This time it was the whole Snowberger Family...and poor Frank.

Even with Didi passing out from altitude sickness (not a surprise), children arguing and whining (again, not a surprise), deer vs. Frank's car (definitely a surprise), we all had a great time. It was nice to be a whole family again.

The End

Her FIRST day of 2nd grade

My baby's LAST day of 2nd grade!! I can't believe it!

Recital

Eliana had dance classes throughout the year which ended in THE CUTEST recital ever. There's really nothing more precious than 3 year olds doing ballet.

End of the Year Fun

Sasha attended acting classes every week all year. Their final performance was "E-I-E-I-Ooops". Sasha was the cow who wouldn't MOO!! Sasha, quiet? I don't think so! Lucky for Sasha, her Didi was here visiting!

Science Center

Sasha and Anne in flight simulation. YIKES!

Keep them busy

This was at 7:45 on Saturday morning! I remember the days I used to sleep in so fondly. Actually, Dudley is our rooster, waking us up around 6:21 every morning. The kids follow around 7. This day, Dudley and I had been up and I decided to clean the garage. The girls were in my way so I threw them outside in their pjs with some sidewalk paint!

Fairy Tale Ball

Sasha's VERY pregnant teacher!

The second grade classes at Sasha's school had a Fairy Tale Ball as their end of the year party. I was lucky enough to help out. It was so awesome. The parents did an amazing job decorating!

Sasha's Birthday...WAAAAYYY Late

Lucky #8!. Sasha had 3 celebrations for her birthday. We had dinner at her favorite fondue restaurant the week of her birthday.

On Sasha's actual birthday, Aunt Laura cooked an AMAZING vegan meal for us. I wish she lived closer so she could cook for me all the time! I even froze the leftovers and there were tons of leftovers, so I could enjoy it at another time.

An eight-year-old can't just have dinner parties when she turns 8, she needs a "REAL" party. A real party, she chose!! She decided she wanted to go roller skating! I'm not sure who had more fun, the moms who were brave enough to skate or the kids!

I'm thinking the moms did!!
