And...Eliana's first day of preschool. I am watching the clock obsessively because I can't wait to go pick her up. She was fine once she got into her classroom. It took her all of 5 seconds to start playing with the other kids. I hope it continued after I left. She'll stay there through lunch and I'll pick her up before naptime.

Firsts....

Sasha's first day of 2nd grade was yesterday. Wow! Where did the time go?

She was so excited because she has the same teacher. Her teacher moved up to 2nd grade with the class.

Ahhhh I love the dry heat!

We just went to Phoenix for Matt's cousin's wedding. I have never been "out west" before and I fell in love! I could really feel a difference with the dry heat. Sure, it was hot, 107 IS REALLY hot but it is nothing compared to our 90 with 80% humidity days! I was happy and relaxed and my hair was SHINY AND SMOOTH!! Of course, it helped that we stayed at an AMAZING resort (Thanks Bubbie and Zayde!) Unfortunately, we were too busy with family events to do any sight-seeing but that just gives us a reason to go back! I'm trying to convince Matt that we should "summer" there next year. He's not interested.

Murray's New 'Do.

He looks so handsome after his haircut last week that I had to call his groomer and tell her how much I loved it. She had to do it all by hand. After he lost so much hair when he was really sick, it grew back really beautiful but really thin. She doesn't want to shave it because he'd be bald!

First of all, please do not open the chocolate syrup.
Secondly, do not put the lid on your eye like a telescope.

Beach Baby

Eliana is in LOVE with the ocean. We went on Monday and she was a little afraid at first but after a few splashes with Mommy, she wouldn't get out. Then, we decided to go again yesterday and she had a blast. She enjoyed sitting in the sand just after the waves broke and letting them knock her down and push her around. Just like Sasha. I need another pair of eyes.

Special Friend (but not for long)

We're not sure why it decided to sit on her finger. Maybe it was the Mermaid outfit?

You can bet it wasn't very happy after Eliana walked up and whacked it with a Barbie doll. What is about 2-year-olds and hitting?

The Tooth Fairy Came Again

Sasha has 4 missing teeth. I wonder if we'll get a discount tomorrow at her dentist appointment.

The County Fair

YEEEHAW!!!!!

The kids won 5 fish. Guess what! Less than a week later, they were all dead. Surprisingly, the one that Eliana was carrying/poking (at the eyeballs)/throwing/petting/shaking lived the longest! Thankfully, Sasha's fish, Hannah (who was going to live at Didi and Pap's house) died AFTER we left to come home. I have yet to tell her.
