What can we possibly say in a letter to our future children?
How can we even begin to tell them how we feel? To say,
We are so excited to meet you. We think about you every day.
doesn't even begin to touch upon our emotions.

Surprising News
We just found out that the orphanage has told the kids about us. We are totally surprised by this.
In a way, I am happy that they know they are in our hearts but I also worry. It feels long enough until October for us. I can only imagine what it seems like to them. I worry about what would happen if Russia would put a hold on adoptions. What if our trip gets postponed again? What if the kids don't know why it is taking so long?

Still Looking Towards October
I just got an email from our caseworker and she said that as of today, we are still on for October. I had mentioned to her that I was having trouble waiting. She is also waiting to adopt after having trouble trying to conceive so she gave me lots of encouragement. It was nice to hear that she knows what I am going through.
She said she tried new things like taking a hip-hop class. Have you ever seen me dance? Trust me, you don't want to! I won't be trying that. But I have been working out almost every day this summer.
Seriously, I'm not exaggerating. I think that since the end of May, I've missed maybe 5 days total. That's pretty impressive. Hey, I need to be in shape if I'm going to chase around 2 kids in a few months. It won't be like having an infant to build up my endurance over the years. 4 year olds and 7 year olds already know how to run. And, they are going to have new sneakers when they get here so they'll be able to run REALLY fast!

Too long
As of today, I am officially having a hard time waiting. The past few months haven't been too bad but for some reason, I feel like I may have reached my breaking point. I know the time is gettting closer but it feels like I'm getting further away from our children. It's like one of those movies where you keep running down a hallway and the end keeps getting further and further away.
We're still waiting on an update from the orphanage. Maybe once that comes, I'll feel a little better. Or, maybe it will make it even harder!
