Whole Foods
It could be one of my most favorite places! I actually DON'T MIND grocery shopping at that store. Eliana LOVES that they have wee grocery carts just for her, however I do have to check the cart before we check out. She has a tendency to pick things off the shelf and add them to her cart. On this trip, she wanted Peppermint oil and asian noodles.

Uh Oh!
She is cute AND Sassy... I think.
I had a bike and then I sold it on Craigslist. I had to sell it because it wasn't pretty so I wasn't riding it. No, really, that's really why I didn't want to ride it.
But, anyway...
I listed it on CL and the next day an older couple came out to look at it. They were some serious bike folk and really took their time looking it over. As the man got on it to take it for a test drive, Eliana asked, "Why is that man riding it?" I said, "He wants to see if he likes it." Eliana watched him ride away and stated, "Oh he wikes it". The man's wife said, "How do you know he likes it?" Eliana looked very thoughtfully for a minute, turned around, stuck out her tushy and then answered, "From my butt!"
There was no hole for me to crawl into.
Oh! They did buy the bike!

Ooops!
I would like to thank the woman in the car behind me who, while we were at a red light, got Eliana's sneakers off the back of the car and brought them to me. I couldn't figure out why this woman behind me was honking and waving and pointing. Just as I was about to get out of my car to check for a flat tire, she came running up to my door. I didn't know whether to lock the doors and floor it or take a fighting stance. "You have a pair of shoes on the back of your car, do you want me to get them for you?" Really, never expected to hear that. I had gone 4.26 miles with them on the back of the car, on the bumper.

MURRAY!!!!
I am just amazed by my boy. When the vet called today with Murray's most recent bloodwork results, she was laughing because even she couldn't believe how well he is doing. When he was diagnosed with diabetes and advanced liver disease in February 2008, they didn't expect him to live past the summer of 2008. 2008!!!
He's my Miracle Dog!!

She's her Daddy's girl.
Another one bites the dust.
Our 2nd digital camera bit the dust. After 10ish years and 2 kids, only 2 cameras isn't too bad in my opinion!
Actually, it bit the concrete. Eliana ran away with it. Then, she somehow dropped it in front of her as she was running. She ran right over top of it. It was one of those weird events...well, except for the part where a 2 year-old runs away with something...where everything was in alignment and there was nothing you could do. I guess, I shouldn't have allowed her to have the camera in the first place but she's usually really careful with it. Her new haircut must have made her feel reckless!
This is one of the last pictures taken before destruction. Goes well with the story, don't you think?
It still works, surprisingly, but the lens is exposed for all the world. It is now Sasha and Eliana's camera. We'll see how long it lasts.

Dancing Queen
Hallelujah!
Eliana's first haircut went very well. I was afraid her screams would be heard for miles but in fact, she sat still for almost ONE HOUR! Yes, it really took ONE HOUR to cut this child's hair. She's never had it cut before and she has a lot of locks! At one point, her hairdresser, my hairdresser and the owner of the salon were all playing with her hair.
