Elmo Shmelmo

I never liked Elmo. It was torture watching it with my nephew when he was a baby. When we brought Sasha home, the Elmo videos were the only ones she would actually sit still and watch so he grew a little bit on me.

I'm still not his biggest fan but when I found this outfit, I had to buy it. How could you not like Elmo when he looks like this?

And then there is Sasha

Take a look at THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL. We went to Baby Loves Disco on Sunday. Just waiting in line on the street, the photographer was snapping pictures of her and within 5 minutes of walking in the door, the same photographer was taking pictures of her again.

I highly recommend it for children ages 3 and up. But if you have a very extroverted 2 year old, he/she would love it too.

Baby Loves Disco is a family event, there is no structure, just plenty of environment, atmosphere and healthy snacks. There is music spun by the DJ with bubbles floating over the the dance floor- to get the mamas, papas and little ones moving. There are egg shakers, play scarves and a chill-out space with pillows, stuffed animals, books and toys/puzzles.. There are balloons (by Skip*Hop) to enjoy and take home as well as the snacks for both kids and adults, plus the bar is open for non-driving adults.

Long Time, No Update

Where have I been? Geez. You would think that I'd post updates a little more often but you see, Eliana has decided to start crawling. Well, almost crawling but I never realized how fast an army crawl can get you from one place to another.

For example, it only takes a few seconds to get to the dog's water bowl. It takes even less time to reach over and spill it. I did not get a picture of that because I'm a good mommy and picked her up before she got all wet.

We were so lucky to be able to spend a week in PA with my family. Sasha had the best time with her cousins. I just love watching them play together.
